Per GM , 10% more flow --IF-- your engine can use & has a need for more flow.

Most guys have found the LS6 intakes to flow around 270cfm peak flow. That's better than the 250cfm that the LS1 manifolds flow. Obviously there are a lot of dynamics occuring inside these manifolds and merely looking at peak flow numbers is not telling the whole story about making torque and horsepower. I, like many on this site would like to see more aftermarket manufacturers produce alternatives to the factory parts. Don't get me wrong about the LS6 manifold, GM has done a masterful job producing a manifold that blends low speed part throttle operation with high rpm WOT capabilities.
Alonzo: I saw on another thread you mentioned watching Adam Saruwatari at a race several years ago. FYI he's testing a twin turbo NSX and has laid down some mid 7 second passes. He is truly a nice guy and his new car is awesome.

Thanks everyone I appreciate it.Headbeam yeah Adam kicks *** I like how he does more with less, he recently won an event with his new toy.I hated to see the rx7 go but it just couldnt compete with those other cars any more although he had been doing it for a while.

It's an old read but still good.

It states that tests done by "Pete Incaudo of CNC Cylinder Heads" Found that the flow limits are aprox 265 cfm at 28" of water.
