Well i putting a lq4 block toghter with 4.02 bore on about 11.7.1 ratio, N/A. what should i gap my 1st and 2nd ring at. i am using childs & alberts dura moly rings. i called them they said .004 x your bore size on top ring, 2nd ring .003, which would be top ring at .016, and 2nd ring at .012. should i gap the ring to what they said or something else?

That looks like factory ring gaps. If your gonna beat on it a little you need a bit more. For moderate performance N/A shoot for .018-.020" on the top ring(.0045xbore). The bottom ring should be in the .014-.016" range(.0035xbore). I personally would go for the .020" top and .016" bottom. For nitrous you need quite a bit more <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
