Which design do you need the # for? 02 cars use a seal with the spring seat and seal as one piece. I haven't heard of any 01 cars using this design. I guess some late 01 cars could have come with them. The other design is a separate seal not combined with the spring seat.

98-01 Ex 12457652
02 In 12482063
02 Ex 12482062

All #'s are pkg. of 8.

Default 2001 Valve Seals

Does anyone know the GM part #'s for the valve seals (intake & exhaust) on a late '01 WS6? The parts GM gave are not the same as those off the car????

Well 2xLS1 you hit the nail on the head my brutha!! Let be the first to tell you that my late model '01 WS6 has got the '02 seals. I spent half the day trying to explain this distinct possibility to the fools at my local GM & Pontiac dealer to no avail.

The Pontiac guy asked me, as I handed him the Valve Seal "is this bad boy for the tire?" I'm no car expert but c'mon dude!

Anyway, thanks for your insight. To be fair my new '01 WS6 was on a lot that had already recieved some '02 TA's. This might be an isolated situation.
