Not your usual LS6 intake question. A lot of people have had problems with SLP LS6 intakes EGR connections leaking.
To aviod this problem, a few people have told me to get the non EGR version of the LS6 intake from SLP. Then get the LPE EGR adaptar to avoid any leaks. Therfore my quesions are...
1) Has anyone tried this yet?
2) If so, how well has it worked?
3) Will this work at all?
4) As far as leaks are concerned,is the LPE EGR adaptar any better then the SLP EGR connection?
5) How is the LPE EGR adaptor different from the SLP EGR connection?
6) Will using the LPE EGR adaptor instead of using the EGR connection cause me to fail a smog?

Re: Not your usual LS6 intake question. I would do the LPE adapter over the SLP set-up. SLP leaks because they try to seal a curved surface with an o-ring....obviously, not an o-ring design.
Re: Not your usual LS6 intake question. keep in mind that ANY non factory egr setup is just as illegal as none at all, however far less penalized... emmissions equipment has to be oem and in factory orientation until 50k miles i believe.. then can be replaced with aftermarket
