Default Bang for the buck heads

I am going to be doing a cam in my 04 GTO and starting looking at some of the "budget" heads that are out there. I am 95% sure I am going to go with the Comp Cams 54-428-11 228/230 .571/.573 cam. By the time you buy spring package its not a whole lot more for a set of ported ls6 heads. which set of heads do you reccomend. Looked at the Patriot stage II heads.

Mods to car are:
CAI
Kooks 1 7/8" LT's w/cats
Underdrive pulley
3.91 gears
spec stage 3

The ported 243 heads seem to work quite well. The thing I don't care for on many of them is that they are just hogged out, and the material gets a bit thin.

For the money, I like the Dart 205 heads. A bit more than the ported 243 heads, but they work just as well with a small intake port. Plus, there's material in stock for porting if you want to.

TSP LS6 Stage 1s. I'm running the Torquer V2 (232/234@112)with them and had a best time of 12.01 so far.

For the money, go with the L92 heads with a spring upgrade good to .650 lift from SDPC. Their website is www.SDPC2000.com. They outflow MANY of the heads out there and are around $1200 or so.
You can get the L76 intake with TB, injectors and rails for about $500 more.

EDIT: I saw your were stock cubes, not sure how that would work out for you. If it is a 402 you should be set though.

I've got some Dart 205 or 225cc heads in stock for steal! Anyone interested can PM me for pricing.

Also, as mentioned above our upgraded L92 heads are a very popular choice
