6.0 liter block

Just a little curious since I've never seen it anywhere but how far can the 6.0 be bored,both for the street and track max.I'm thinking 60 over for the street.Don't know what to think for the track?Help me out guys.Thanks Tom

Just about all can go .030" over, most can go 0.50", many can go 0.060" over, and few can go 0.080" over. For the 0.060" and 0.080" overbores, a sonic test is required to make sure the block can it.

You're talking about an iron block, right? A 6.0 LS2 will definitely not be able to take a bore that large.

I figured .030 overbore is what most people go but was curious how far one can go.

.060 safely with a sonic test.
