Heads/Cam questions for a 382 Stroker

Heads/Cam questions for a 382 Stroker I was thinking of getting a 382 Stroker short block and adding a set of heads and a good cam later. Will the heads or the cam need to be specially made for a 382 or could I get a used stage II heads&cam set to throw on the 382 without any problems?

Re: Heads/Cam questions for a 382 Stroker I have 1 size bigger valves and polished and ported heads with lunati 221/221 558/558 114 cam with a vortech superchager works well I think the cam may be too small only running 7# boost make sure if you get the lunati stroker kit to key the crank before you install it I had to take mine back out after it was running.

Re: Heads/Cam questions for a 382 Stroker the 6lt heads I think will give you more compression mine is very high now at 10.3 to 1 I should have order lower comp. pistons and then run more boost. I haven't run at track b/c I have had to take motor back out and have the crank keyed to match my pulley it was spinning very badly on the crank that is also costing me hps but I will know soon.

You have just about the setup I'm wanting to get.
I have the Stage II procharger, and want to put it on a 382 with 6.0 heads and a custom blower cam.
What kind of power and times are you getting with your setup, if you don't mind me asking?
