Default B1 or change?

I am getting ready to put MTI stage 2 heads on. Currently have the B1 cam, should I leave it or change to another cam while doing it. Current mods include lid, flps and corsa catback.
Opions please?

Thanks
Steve

If you have access to tuning the car, then yes some of the newer and bigger cams will show gains. If you have to stay on stock programming, then stay with the B1.

I have yet to see one of the newer cams make enough power over the B1's and T1's WITHOUT tuning to justify the extra price and effort. They work real well on stock tuning, and the B1 is a very well rounded good street cam....

You've got basically the same setup as I do. Tuned daily driver with a M6 and stock rearend.

I run the MTI X1 and am very happy with it. Picked up 30 rwhp over my T1, drive it every day with no problems and put down 446 rwhp.

I'm in Houston so if you want to come out and take a drive or listen to it prior to swapping your cam out for something bigger, just send me a pm.

Regards,

David
