Default Help me pick a cam

I'm looking for something streetable, but doesn't have to be HAPPILY streetable. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> M6 with stock heads, just throwing in a cam and tuning and doing springs and retainers. I was thinking of the 230/224 111 or the 227/224 114 but can I go more extreme without worrying about clearances and breaking something?

If you want better streetability then go woth the 227/224.You will not have any piston to valve clearance issues with either or so long as your heads arent milled to much.JMX has the 227/224 email him and he will give you more details.Oh yeah and it made a butt load of power with no headers.

In my personal opinion, both the 227 and 230 cams you listed are too big to get the most out of stock heads. If you never planned on replacing your heads, I wouldnt go any bigger than the TR220 or the MTI B1.
