Replacing Oil Pump, any concerns? well, after replacing my sensor twice just to be sure i didn't really have low oil pressure, i'm going to replace the oil pump. symptoms are my psi is less than 5psi at idle and 20psi at WOT. i've been driving it like this for about 1,000 miles, i wasn't aware i had low oil pressure. i have a tapping noise coming from the rocker arm area, it goes away when i rev it. any chance i hurt anything?
i'm tearing the engine down tomorrow, anything i should be aware of? i'm sure it will go smooth.
