What can i do for more PROVEN POWER i have cartek heads and cam... flp full lenghts, off road pipes, slp loud mouth, mti clear lid.. and bg ram air.. i have 4200 miles on the stock short block... which has been head & cam from day one.... What can i do to gain some power? synthic tranny fuild? better Maf? ported tb? ati damper? what else...

Re: What can i do for more PROVEN POWER Your on the right track. I would recommend not using synthetic trans fluid and would run a asp over the ati for cost reasons only. Keep in mind that every 10lbs you lose is = to 1 hp at the rear. Light cars are always fast <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
Re: What can i do for more PROVEN POWER What sort of power are you putting down now? Do you have LS6 intake? What's the compression with the Cartek heads? True duals and ported TB might net you a bit of a gain.

Re: What can i do for more PROVEN POWER 405rwhp with a 224/224 its a 2002... its my daily driver... so yanking weight is not an option.. im trying to get as much N/a power as possible... i can jet in as much power as want with my Nx kit... butmy pooor 10 bolt wont aqllow me to get a pass in with et-drags... ive had the car since May 20th and it has over 5700 miles on it.... its my daily driver... Nothing radical can be used

Re: What can i do for more PROVEN POWER Really you are stuck with that amount of horsepower unless you go with a bigger cam or bigger motor. The most I see is another 15rwhp out of ported TB, different maf, pulleys, and possibly a cutout.. If you take the car to Cartek and let them tune it.. You should get 40rwhp plus just the way it sits.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Just kidding.. I think with the above things I mentioned, bigger cam and ls1edit.. You will get 430rwhp plus..
