Some have kept up on the problems, but for the newbies to my problem, GM did the warranty ring fix on my 2001 Camaro about 15,000 miles ago. Since then the car has been eating more and more oil over time, forcing oil through the PCV system etc... well finally a couple of the cylinders went out.
Anyways, my question is if I just want to repair the engine and get it running to the point where its reliable what do I have to replace? Does the block need to be bored? new pistons? just rings? anything with the heads? what about cats and sensors since so much oil has passed through them? Thanks!
