Default Re: california emissions?

You should stick with something at or under a 221/221 and make sure that it has a 114LSA. I have heard of a few people claiming to have been able to get 224's to pass with a little custom tuning, and alot of heating up the cats right before the test, but that cam is a riskier choice. You should be in good shape with something like an MTI B1 or Thunder Racing's 220/220 114LSA. You would be really safe with a 218/218 114LSA and might have less tuning issues with the 218 if you have an Auto tranny. But whatever you choose... The most important factor is to make sure you keep a lobe seperation of 114 or greater (SLP's=115LSA).

Personally, I have an M6 (Manual) and a B1 sitting in my garage about to go in real soon... as soon as I get my heads together <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> .

Hope this helps.
