Comp Cam 220 / 224 - anyone using this cam?
I have one just collecting dust, and was looking for comments from anyone that has tried it.
Specs:
220 / 224
.532 / .535 on 114
(I was told by C.C. that it's on XE-R lobes)
Thanks

I believe that is one of Comps Extreme Energy LS1 cams which was their first set of lobes for the LS1. Newer XE-R lobes have higher lift and faster accelerating ramps. I have been looking for an older Comp grind. Let me know if you would like to sell it.

I asked the guy at commp twice if he was sure about the lobes and he insisted they were XE-R's.
He didn't seem like he had any idea at all on what he was doing or looking at.
I need to call back and talk to someone else.
The grind # LS1 3767 / 3753 HR 14
Serial # P 5306

I used to have that same exact grind in my car w/GTP heads and stock cubes. It was good for a best of 10.89 @ 120something in good air...
Barely noticeable idle, drove like a stocker.
