Someone e-mailed me, and this all seems like a hell of a deal...
MTI S2 heads with less than 5,000 miles on them...
What are the risks?

Look for cracked areas in and around the valve seats. Loose Valve Guides, deep scratches in the motor-face of the heads, evidence of rocker arm problems on the tops of the valve stems...just give them a good looking over.
With that many miles, unless he burnt a valve running nitrous, I cant see much of anything being wrong with them.
Good luck, (lucky bastid!)

He has had the stage2 heads and cam for about 40k miles and no problems that he has told me. In fact he just added an LS6 intake and he's putting out 418rwhp through a Moser 12-bolt.
BTW- This guy drives his car like he stole it, every single day!
Peace,
Craig.

Thanks for the replies guys...
I will probably have the heads brought to my local speed shop to have them look over them throughly... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
