ported heads and matched intake

ported heads and matched intake would it be a good choice to order a set of LS6 heads(1500) and the holley aluminum intake(560) and drive my car over to mti (like a 15-20 min drive) and let them poert match the heads and intake and get a cam. I want to go with the stage 2 port job and either the B1 or C1 cam(450), whats everybody's 2 cents on it? is it worth it?

Re: ported heads and matched intake yea i know all the stories about the holley, but i figured it i got the heads and intake ported at matched at the same time its gotta be worth more power and then i would let mti put it on casue i heard you have to grind things to make it fit (and my small grinding work turns into buying another one 10 min later casue i over did it) but maybe i will just stick with the trusty thermoplastic one
