I'll bring my digital caliper tonight when I get the tranny mount from you and we can check the basecircle. Just bring the cam.

Your stock cam has a base circle of 1.552” across the lobe. That is actually 0.776” centerline to heel (1/2 that distance).
When you measure your B1 cam across the lobe, remember, you will have to cut that distance in half and then compare it to the 0.776" number.
I will bet that the B1 is about .025" (25 thousands) less than stock.
If so, that would require .025" longer pushrods. However, they are sold in 50 thousands increments, so you might as well keep your stock rods.
It will be interesting to see what you come up with.

I'm gonna make a random off the wall guess and say it'll be 1.495 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
For what its worth blake, I use that cam with my stock heads and stock length pushrods just fine, as do many others.

Well, I say you will measure 1.502" accross the lobe. That is .050" less than stock... 1/2 that distance would be .751" (centerline to lobe heal), >> and that is .025" less than the stock .776" centerline to heal.
