Dyno & Tuning numbers on my TR224
I finally got the cam in the night before last (which you probably saw in my post yesterday).
I had it tuned at Dyno Pro Performance in Wauconda, Illinois and all aI can saw is WOW...
I made a best of 398.2 RWHP and 378 RWTQ SAE corrected. That was with the cutout open.
I made a best of 392.5 and 377.8 Capped.
The graphs look beautiful and smooth. It pulls hard all the way to 6600
It's the TR224 cam on the 114 LSA..
A/F made the most power right at a constant 13 to 13.5
Brian at Dyno Pro did an amazing job...
Not bad on stock heads!!! We'll see what happens with a good set of stage II's this winter!!
I'll scan the graph later tonight and get it up.....
I'm a HAPPY man today..
By the way, my best pull prior to the cam and tuning was 347 rwhp and 355 tq..
I pulled approx 50 rwhp from the cam and tuning.
THANK YOU Thunder Racing and thank you VERY MUCH BRIAN at Dyno Pro Performance!!!!!! <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />

cj,
nice numbers. what gears are you running?
FYI....if you tune to get most hp on a dyno, you will mostly be running lean when on the road. the road has more load than a dyno. 13.5 on a dyno may go up to 13.7-13.8 at the track, which is so lean that it might cause KR. please keep an eye on that (using atap or similar tool). good luck!!

I'm running 4:10's...
That's great advice..I usually tap it while i'm at the track. I'll slap it on the tap tonight and let her rip...
I can't belive how hard it pulls all the way to 66-6700....
Track times to come soon.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Great numbers..I would hope to have similar with my mods but no dynos within 500 miles so maybe will take it next year after planned heads.
So your thunder is only slightly larger than my b1..very similar...b1 is of course.221/.221/.558/.558/114lsa..I have lid, holley filter, gms maf,mti ported tb,ls6 intake,b1,tts longtubes, cats and cutout, asp pulley. For tuning just scanmaster, autotap and maft right now..hopefully get ls1 edit sometime this next year.I also have a cf driveshaft.think they might give a few more hp and heard full synthetics in the engine ,trans and rearend can sometimes give 5 or a bit more hp.Congrats again..

Great Numbers!!!
You just made my weekend. LunaticTA and I just started the same project on our cars last weekend with installing the FLP LTHs. We are trying to get the TR224/.561/112 CAM with the REV Springs and Retainers and hardend pushrods next weekend.
Nice to see what we should end up with.
