HELP...missed shift...what can be bad besides pushrods
I missed a shift bad at the track tonite. 5th to 3rd at about 120....don't ask why I was hitting 5th...that's a whole other topic in it's own. Well the car made a horrid noise and then stalled. I was able to drive the car home with a blinking ses lite and it's vibrating bad and hardly running. Could I have did any more damage besides pushrods? This was on nitrous also but I'm not sure if it sprayed or not on the misshift.

Check the pushrods first. Then I would try a compression test to check if the valves are bent. It's not the most comprehensive test, but it's easy to do. Good luck.
