Default HELP...missed shift...what can be bad besides pushrods

I missed a shift bad at the track tonite. 5th to 3rd at about 120....don't ask why I was hitting 5th...that's a whole other topic in it's own. Well the car made a horrid noise and then stalled. I was able to drive the car home with a blinking ses lite and it's vibrating bad and hardly running. Could I have did any more damage besides pushrods? This was on nitrous also but I'm not sure if it sprayed or not on the misshift.

There's a very good chance you have bent valves (almost a certainty) along with scarred pistons. Damage might even go further. Sorry to hear about you incident...been there, done that. Bent all 8 intake valves. :whiner:

Then I would try a compression test to check if the valves are bent. It's not the most comprehensive test, but it's easy to do. Good luck.

I did the same thing on the autoabahn, man. Unfortunately for me, though, it was the valves/pistons/rods and everything else down there.

UPDATE: Took it apart and had one badly bent pushrod and another that was just a little bent. Gonna go put it back together and see if it's any better. If it's still not right I'm sure I'm gonna have 100 questions.
