Default New curve thrown into the engine swap...

Ok, well GM called today, if I get only the LS6 crate put in I get a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty with the swap... if I put the cam in they wont warranty anything... What do you guys think? Take the bullet and hope the install goes good with no warranty or just leave the LS6 stock? What kind of performance can I expect with the LS6 ?

I ask because the 2002 LS6 will give you about 356 RWHP, equivalent to some cam changes. Plus you get the LS6 heads and intake along with the swap.
