Default New Cam

Bought a new cam today. It's a Comp 222 226 .566 .569 114. How good are these? What kind of HP/TQ increase can I expect, how does it idle, sound, etc? Hope to have it installed within the next few weeks. Looking forward to seeing and feeling how it works.

well i havent had any experience with that cam but its gona have a good aile because of the 114lsa and if your looking to get even more power go with the crane cams aluminum roller rockers or the jessel shaft mount roller rockers in the stock ratio because if you plan on changiong your cam again dont go with the crane rockers cause most other cams ramp up too fast for thoes rockers. imo just order you a set of jessel shaft mount rockers in the stock ratio and they can be used with any cam

I've still got a couple more things I need to get, before I can get it installed. According to Comp, I'll have to get new lifters. In order to keep the warranty. My question is, what lifters would be reasonable? Price wise and performance wise. Next question, what are some other things I should consider getting? Without forking out too terribly much money. All suggestions welcome!
