need help with cam selection

i never said i want the biggest cam you can find, i asked for opinions on setup, and i admitted i am not the smartest person when it comes to cam selection.
i look at flow charts for heads and they are flowing all the way up to .650 and i just stated that it seems like a t-rex would hold back a good set of heads because its only .608 lift on the intake, which seem likes its not using the full potential of the head. but like i said, im no expert, thats why im on this board, and thats why i made this thread, because there are way smarter on this board than ill ever be.
im looking for a track oriented cam, the car is only a weekend car/track car now. i understand biggest it not best, but i figured that i would need a decent sized cam to get what i want.
oh ya, t-rex is 242/248 .608/.612 110 lsa
