is this piston ok? (pic inside)
Dreaded Piston Scratches! *PIC* I am looking on buying a used motor and was told it is possible a valve broke loose and danced on the piston a bit perhaps.

First off, predator makes a good point. Second, ibanez7 suggests sanding and polishing out the scratches, but that potentially lower compression on only one cylinder. Third, theres a good chance the cylinder wall is scratched up too.
