Help me pick a cam, ASAP, please....
Help me pick a cam, ASAP, please.... Mods are as follows, and I need o pick a cam ASAP.... Also feel free to post your opinions, advice, outlook, etc. Thanks, Shawn
MODS:
FTRA, MTI Lid, K+N, SLP 85mm MAF, SLP Bellows, 160* Thermostat, LS6 Intake, Hooker LTs, ORP, & Catback, ASP Pulleys, MMS Ported TB, TEA Stg 2 5.7 heads milled .005, 2.02 & 1.55 Ferrea valves, COMP 987 Dual valvesprings, Ti retainers, TR 7.4" chromemoly pushrods, rest of the boltons (SLP Fan switch, !CAGS, Pro 5.0, etc) (Car currently has 3.42s, but a Moser 12 bolt w/ 4.56s is around the corner...)
I have pretty much narrowed it down to one of five cams, let me know....

Re: Help me pick a cam, ASAP, please.... no entirly true, i have an A4 with 3.73s and what little i drove it brfor i broke it was awsome, its the same as a 224/224 BUT it keep making more power up top, true to utilize this you need to rev higher but thats a dyno number game. just IMO so what i say isnt gosfel(sp?)it felt real good on 3.73 and A4....

Re: Help me pick a cam, ASAP, please.... Any of those cams will work with 4.56 gears, in my opinion dont use low lift design with that much duration it is a waste. My cam has .578" lift with only 220* dur. at .050" and with 918 springs no issues at all.Go with .590" lift its not that aggressive with the bigger duration those cams all have. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
