Jeez dude, your mom should pay for some english lessons first and your dad should make sure you go to them. <- see that, its a period...goes at the end of a sentance.

If you want a cam but don't want it to be noticed, leave your stock exhaust manifolds and cats on, or get headers but a milder cam. Whatever you do, get it on a 114lsa. No matter what, keep cats on there. The more open your exhaust is, the more noticable your mods will be.

TR224 on a 114lsa + stock exhaust from heads to tail pipe + ported heads + underdrive pulley = one hell of a stealthy car that'll make 360-380rwhp and idle great.

You want to do mods that are not noticeable and you are considering a loudmouth? Also how in the hell are you going to change a cam without your dad knowing? I mean think about it, if you have a shop do it it might take a day or two to get it back (turn-around time) and if you do it at home then you would have to cut school (I assume you are young enough to be in school) stay home and install the cam and hope you do not run into problems, with that said I will say I will help if possible. I would suggest the 2002 ZO6 Cam. You might be able to get the dealer to install it and not loose any part of your warranty. Second you could run the Magnaflow or Dynomax cat-back. Get a lid do the free mods and buy a nitrous kit and take time to hide it well. Suspension mods are not seen. Weight reduction is like being given free hp so ditch your spare tire, jack and your fat girlfriend. Save some money buy a set of heads ( I suggest SDPC CNC LS6 Heads) and if your car is a 2000 or older then buy a 2001-2002 (aka LS6) intake. When finished with this you should have already lost your car because your dad WILL catch you, we have all been there.
Good luck,
Bart

Ditto on what jmX said. Keep your stock exhaust manifolds and cats, maybe go to a dual dual. Definately dont do a loudmouth, and keep the cam on a 114 lsa with fast ramps.

Ok my parents are divorced, and my dad dosent live with us. He stays about 30 min away, but his name is on the papers for the car. He knows I have loudmouth, because he is the one that bought it for me. he will almost never look under the hood, and all im worried about is the idle. He knows that I want headers with no catalic converters. What will get me in toruble is if I break any gasket on my engine, and he finds out. He says that he dosent want me to race. My mom says if I race I better win. I hope this relpy is up to you grammar standars.

If he is not going to look under the hood then you could get headers, you might want to have them coated black for stealthness. FLPs would be a good choice b/c you can swap the cats for off road pipes easily. Put a stock catback on there but have a cutout welded in before the muffler. When you want to go race, drop the cats, open the cutout and you are good to go. A Thunder 220 cam on a 114lsa would be a good choice. It has a mild lope to it, but with a stock catback you would really have to listen for it.

I got the car I have now about 1 month ago, the rule was, no modifications or the car is sold, Do you realize how much trouble it is to sell a car? My parents finally gave up, I told them I had tranny problems and I was taking it to the dealer, 2 days later I had my headers and ypipe installed, in a few weeks im going in because my rear end is whining (getting my car installed). They noticed the headers, but broke and said, no more after this, They wont know the cam is installed though. Its not that hard! gotta be smart.

Maybe he's concerned for your safety. Anyway, hide a nitrous kit and leave the rest as is. Nitrous is silent, not to mention nothing else you'll "get away with" will add nearly as much power. Save your racing for the drag strip so you don't crash and kill anybody, including yourself.

Yea I already know what headers im going with (hookers) and it pisses me off cause he is such a hypocrit cause i know he used to race his cars all the time (77 comarro, 81 comarro, 82 vette (in the garage), and 89 vette. so he knows about the full exaust I want. but any other gasket that he finds out that I had broke thats it (he might not sell it but im gona go from a t/a to a durango.

My dad also, he raced for about 10 years in G/SA with a 1970 Buick Stage 1, he ran a 11.29, simply amazing I think, but anywhoo, he has an oldsmobile 442 now, cam etc,,, I dont ask much, I pay for the car, but he says as long as its in his driveway its under his terms, Stay strong, and be smart, be just as sneaky as your parents, they more than likely wont sell it, and if they take it away, make it miserable on them. haha, I hate to sound like a stuck up rich kid from the burbs, but im sure Ill pay for all this when im a grown adult and have a little **** for a teenage son.

I am not supposed to mod my car till my old one is sold. But what he doesnt know cant hurt him. He never hears the car really cause i am never home. But he turns his head when the signals are there. I ran open manifolds for a 2 weeks and he heard that. Come home all the time on the weekends with rubber all over my white car. If your dad doesnt live with you then just dont let him hear it. Plus about install the stuff just get some friends that know how to do it. Find people on this board that live by you and that would be willing to help you so if you do blow a head gasket or something you can get it fixed no problem. But there are plenty or worse things than blowing a gasket. Like bending valves and pushrods. Or throwing a piston rod.
