Reuse head gaskets and bolts???
I have my heads off to replace a few bent valves. Would it be ok to reuse the head gaskets and bolts just to get me by the rest of the year? I'd say it would only be for 500-1000 miles and a few nites at the track. I plan to redo everything over the winter but I'd like to drive it a bit more this year.

New Gaskets and bolts.
I'd get new bolts, never know might end up being later than you think before you get to redo stuff. Bolts shouldn't be that much.
Not all of the bolts have to be replaced only the torque to yield ones. Some of the bolts are ok to reuse.

I think you can get away w/o new head bolts for now.. I have re-used the same bolts 3x's now w/ several thousand miles and zero problems <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> But maybe I'm just lucky..
