Default lifter help

im putting new lifter in my 2000 TA i have them out but im just wondering is there any special way the new ones have to go in or can i just drop them in like a traditional small block?

I just dropped my new ones in once I had the cam back in the block and fastened down the the retainer plate.

Obviously they need to be oriented a certain way to ride correctly on the cam, but that's easy to do. The lifter trays aid in this as well.

Doesn't hurt to soak them in oil prior to installing. Some folks recommend at least a day for this.

Just drop them in with thew roller wheel going in the direction with the cam lobe, no special way to do it.

thats what i thought...i have the lifters soaking in oil already
