Default 114 lsa or 112?

My car is a '01 Z28/M6. Mods are Lid, SLP 85mm maf, SLP ram air, off road pipe (stock manifolds upgrading to MAC's in spring) and a cutout. My buddy is selling his GTP cam which specs at around 221/221 .561/.561 on a 114lsa. A lot of people in my club are using 112lsa cams with M6's, but I dont want a cam thats TOO noticable. I guess my question is what are the advantages of having a lower LSA?

Default Re: 114 lsa or 112?

if you dont want noticeable get the 114 LSA. Doesnt Andy have 114?

personally I cant tell the difference listening to mine or james car uncapped. I dont think its alot of difference in the 2, but i know the 114 is more streetable for a daily driver. Most seem to be making peak power at 6300 rpms also on the 114LSA

either cam will pull like a mother on top end <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

but you might as well get a bigger cam like along the 224/224 lines <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
