Hi guys noob here been lurking for awhile try to soak up all the good info.
My question is this. I'm going to be ordering some trick flow heads and their stage 3 camshaft for my Camaro. I called trick flow today to ask a couple questions. They said to run any of their cams i need at least 10.5:1 compression. It looks like stock is 10.25:1. BTW they also said their heads do not come with pushrods. I had read somewhere here that they had. So anyways my questions are
-I live in Cali so max octane is 91 what is the highest compression I can run safely?
-What gaskets do I need in order to get this compression?
-What gaskets do you guys reccommend?
I can wrench on stuff but the science of it all is a bit beyond me. Any help is greatly appreciated.
