Default Compression Test Help...

Like a month ago i overreved the crap out of my Stock Internal engine and bent 6 pushrods, so i replaced them and did a leakdown test to check for vent valves...

All pistons showed a 9% leak which from what i know is fine?

We hit the track past friday and boila.. tranny is shot, usual 2-3 shift is gone..

The car ran a best of 13.2 hitting the rev limiter once at 1-2 and twice at 2-3...

Previous best was a 12.4 which we could not back up because on the back up run was the overrev madness..

Anyway.. Since i dont think the tranny alone will take those 8 tenths i thought about bent valves again and bought a compression tester.

Never made this test so on my noobness i made the first try with a cold engine, throttle closed.

All pistons showed at 110psi

Seems low to me, so i come here and search around to find some guys get 180 / 200 psi on stock internals!!! WTF!

Anyway i learn that the motor has to be warm and the throttle wide open..

Same exact results showed.. 110psi

What the hell?

Sorry for the long read but im kinda frustrated...

sounds like you may have SLIGHTLY bent the valves. Before my mishap I was 180ish across the board with a cold engine and a closed throttle blade.
