Default Any difference in 01 and 02 LS6 heads?

The bare castings.
I've seen that 01 castings cost more than 02
castings.
What's the reason for this?

The head castings are identical.

I think scoggins dickey parts posted an indepth write up about the nuiances of the parts trade and why things are dumb like that.
