4.00 bore + 4.125 stroke = 415
4.03 bore + 4.125 stroke = 421
4.06 bore + 4.125 stroke = 427
Having a Pontiac, it'd be cool to do the 421 combo <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> You could get some decals for the hood that say "Blown 421SD" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Todd I like the sound of a SC421SD <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

<strong>..., with a 4.125 you run out of room for a good CH on the pistons and the ring package is not optimal,.....</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Really? What about the ARE 436 motor, it is using a 4.125" Stroke? I would like to know exactly what you mean by running out of room.
