6.0?
Looking at building me a 6.0 FI short block. Can I use a Lunati 4.125 stroker crank, and what would I need to do to the block to use it? I'm looking at boring it to 4.060 and with the 4.125 crank it would end up around 427 cubic inches, I like the sound of that.

Tom...here's a good site to play:
http://www.prestage.com/carmath
4.00 bore + 4.00 stroke = 402
4.03 bore + 4.00 stroke = 408
4.06 bore + 4.00 stroke = 414
4.00 bore + 4.125 stroke = 415
4.03 bore + 4.125 stroke = 421
4.06 bore + 4.125 stroke = 427
Having a Pontiac, it'd be cool to do the 421 combo <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> You could get some decals for the hood that say "Blown 421SD" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: 6.0?
I can set you up with a sweet 400 ci in( you can put the "400" emblems on the hood, using a 6.0L block, 4.00" crank, Carrillo rods and JE pistons, if you're running boost you probably want to stick with a 4.00 crank, with a 4.125 you run out of room for a good CH on the pistons and the ring package is not optimal, shoot me some mail if you want to dicuss this at indacalinc@attbi.com

What about the ARE 436 motor, it is using a 4.125" Stroke? I would like to know exactly what you mean by running out of room.
