Guys I need your help! Please reply! I know that this isn't the truck forum but I can't get them to answer me.
I have a 2002 Silverado with a 5.3 engine. I saw one guy that had a air and water separator for an air compressor so I used this on my truck and I am getting about 1/4 oz oil per driving trip going into my intake until I put this device inline with my PVC Valve. I even have the updated PVC Valve. How long do you think it will take my truck to stop smoking and oil in the intake to dry up?

Re: Guys I need your help! Please reply! If you had a really bad PCV oil problem, you should think about running some GM Top Engine Cleaner through your system. Get the spray version - costs about $7 from a dealer parts house. That should help clean out your intake.

I am not totally sure but I have the air compressor filter that mello Yellow has and I catched about 1/4 oz of oil in 22 miles of driving. The smoking only occurs if I let my truck idle for about 5min and blip the throttle. I have to blip the throttle it doesn't occur any other time. So I thought that this oil might puddle in the intake then when I hit the throttle quickly that is when the blue smoke puffs out the tailpipe.
I FIRST thought it was valve seals or guides but wouldn't it smoke like first thing in the morning when I start it up. It wont smoke a drop this away! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
