Neither one is better unless you have different goals. The G5 would be better if you decide to spray, but the cams N/A generally make about the same power.

zulater- nothing against you, but people need to start defining "better" when asking a question like this.

Better for what?? Big power?? Tractability?? Mid-range power?? Low speed torque?? Smooth idle?? Passing emissions?? How is the car going to be used (daily driver, drag strip warrior, road course machine, etc...)?? What other mods are either on the car or going on the car??

In other words, it's difficult to determine which cam is "better" when we don't know what your goals are.

For instance, in my application, I have no use for a cam that is sluggish below 3000 and makes peak power at 6700; my car is a daily driver, and 95% of the time I shift between 2000 and 2500. See what I am saying??

Burnout, i see what you are saying. I would like to get a good daily driver cam. I go to the track and also Auto X from time to time but i do more street racing than anything else. I also plan on getting long tube headers and Stage II heads. I hope this helps. Passing emissions is not a concern where i live. I would like a nice lopey cam but still want it to be driveable. I hope this helps.
