I'd be a bit nervous with a 14:1 A/F ratio!!!

Default 383 update, reverse split baseline dyno

did a baseline dyno yesterday, but couldn't do any tuning because we couldn't get autotap or LS1edit to connect to the PCM. HELP?!?!

best (3rd) run of:
456rwhp
435rwtq

a/f starts out at 11.5 till 4800 and then goes up linearly to 14:1 at 6800. I think there's quite a bit left in her. At least 460/440, probably more.
the change was from a 224/224 .539 114 lsa to a 236/232 .602/.575 112lsa cam.

I'll probably wait to get it tuned on the dyno and get the A/F right, then I'll post an overlay. I may post just this graph later today if I can get it scanned.

I had the problem of not being able to connect to the PCM before. Turned out it was a blown fuse. Its one located by the driver side door panel, should be an easy fix if that is your problem. Fuse can be had at radio shack.

Great numbers! keep us posted on the results. Is that a stroker or a bore setup?

oops just read your sig...ignore the stroker/bore question.

I am hoping to do an all bore 382 before the end of a race season...looking for numbers similar to yours, if my ARE heads will comply.

hp peak is 6300.

those are current performance times , I'm acutally pretty happy with them for now. Before this cam my best was 12.5@112 on nitto's. Now comes the excuses I FINALLY got a good clutch in the car that can launch well and hold the power. My tranny still CAN'T be power shifted or even speed shifted well for that matter and I'm still on stock 3.42 rear end. On my 11.7 run I hit the limiter in 2nd and ground the crap out of it, hit the limiter in 3rd also about 100' before the traps and never got into 4th.
