Here in the next few months my car will either be a head cam car, or a FI car.
Prob head/cam car cause of money.
First question, how much does it usually cost for a head cam install?
Second what is best type of heads to get? ls6, 5.3 or 6.0 truck heads.
Third who makes the best heads, gtp mti etc??
forth, cam. I got an a4 and want it to idle alright, i'll have a 2800 stall, and would rather have more top end power- this would also help traction right? Plus the races that i'm usually in a about .3 miles, even though there is a drag strip close to my house that is 330 foot. Should i get a thunderracing cam?

seventh how would this setup run against a vortec 6lbs kit?
I know lots of questions but wanting to make sure i can get the most hp out of this and still be driveable, i've heard ls6 heads give about 20-30 more rwhp is that true?

should put you with tuning and LT Headers in the 400+ rwhp. You need to shop around for prices they will vary. Go with someone trusted and proven on the install.

Re: what should i do??? head/cam? Well i'd like to have it installed and tuned for under 4500. I would have to have them installed at 1 of 2 places, TEA in bowling green or ls1motorsports
Both places are just over 4 hours away from me
