Is this a good cam for what I want?
I just want a badass lope and mid-range power and torque. I'll probably never even see the race track. I decided against the C2 because I didn't like it's sound. Tell me more about the 226/226 on a 110....got a soundclip of that?
Thanks
I drive my car almost daily (M6) and I want to add an aggressive cam for now and heads later on. I've heard this cam and know it lopes hard, and that's one of the reasons I want it. I don't really care for the sound of single duration cams. I also want more mid-range hp and tq than top-end since it's a street car. So does anyone have this cam? Thanks
And if you want a awsome street raceing cam The MTI c2 is a awsome cam --not lopey thow --but thats what is cool about it to me --Mr Turbo /fart pipe/Nos spaying ricer wouldnt know what hit him, What cam do ya have now? Plus a duration like that I think may wig out the computer - split durations i heard need more programming and dyno tuneing-thats why most cams like the MTI 224/224/582/ will work on stock programming but even that cam would require some dyno tuneing to get the most out of it-and you have stock heads ,I'm getting the heads first or just have a spare set of ls1 heads done ,then get the cam--it seems like everyday there is a better combo on the cam --but the heads will not change much--so the heads will always be a solid base line to work off of ,but either way dyno tuneing will be needed or get ls1edit

Why do you say the 226/234 is geared for a supercharger?

I think he said that because of the larger exhaust duration. Power Adder cams are usually split duration like that
