oil pressure too low???

oil pressure too low??? when i installed the slp oil pump the pressure when its cold crank the psi is at 45 and when the engine warms up it will drop just alittle over 35 and when in gear its at 40 psi....does anyone have an idea of whats going wrong, or what i did wrong...i put the green o ring that it came with, was i supposed to use the black one for more oil psi?
A ring can't increase psi, unless it was the wrong one and is not sealing properly. I'm sure it was ported but did it also come with a higher pressure spring? If not, then you will lose some pressure at the gain of flowing more volume (bigger hole can flow more but will have less pressure).

That is enough oil pressure at idle. I would have installed the higher psi spring, but it's probably not worth it at this point unless you're getting like 50 psi at 6k, then I would do it.
