I want to go with a 228/232 .551/.551 114LS Comp cam. It will be on a full bolt on 4000 stall bottlefed 99' Formula....does anyone see a HUGE problem w/this cam on this set up? No heads, YET...but coming....THANKS in advance.

PSH! That POS of your? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> That cam is probly a BIT big for stock heads, not to say it won't run well, but i'm sure it will run rich, etc. etc. and not make quite the power a smaller cam would with stock heads, but if you're planning on heads later then it won't be quite so bad...
Until the heads though... <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

Josey,

IMO. Call Geoff at Thunder. He is the one to ask for cam help. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Looks good <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I would consider getting around 4 degrees advance ground in <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
If your pistons will clear it a 230/234 on 112LSA will work great on spray and NA as well. (again 4 degrees ground into it)
Cheers,
Chris

What do you want out of the cam? I would recomend running more aggressive ramps since supposedly the 918s can be trusted now, also I am not a fan of exhaust-biased splits, you should consider something like the TR230.
