I tore my ticking ls1 down tonight to find that cylinder 5 rod bearing is gone. It didnt spin but the bearing isnt any good and the crank has some abrasions on it. Can you turn the stock crank .010 and use over sized rod bearings? if so where can I get these rod bearings as well as stock crank bearings and cam bearings while im in there might as well.

Try ARE, I know that they have worked on a couple of cranks for a larger stroke. Then again, you might want to look for a used crank. I have seen several for sale around $300 from people who have installed stroker cranks.

Try Thunder Racing for the bearings, they may also be able to help you with the crank. If not you might want to try ARE.
