I believe those are the caddy lifters. SDPC has the LS7 lifters for less than $100...

Nope...those are even better. Those are the new CTSV lifters that were introducted here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iv-internal-engine/580686-new-upgraded-hydraulic-roller-lifters-sdpc.html

I'm looking for them too....I think these are the CTS-V lifters...

I am looking for the re-designed LS7 lifters...I think they are around $140.

So how do the LS7 lifters compare to stock LS1 lifters? My car is a 98, so, I am taking a wild guess, along with the heads and rod bolts, and the oil pump, the 98 LS1 lifters are probably also of the extra shitty variety as is everything with 98 LS1's (looking at my valve covers with holes in the "wrong" location makes me sad).

For how big a cam are the LS7 lifters a worthwhile upgrade, and when do I start wasting money going to CTSV lifters? Right now I am just running a TR224 on a 112.

im going to run the torquer v3 with stage 2.5 prc 5.3l heads and i just wanna make sure i can rev nice and high with no worries. Since i was totally ready to spend 200 on them i guess ill just stick with these then considering there better then the ls7 ones.

So these will definately work with my setup and stock length rods right?

The only reason to get caddy lifters is if you plan on revving over 7000 RPM...

The LS7 lifter is now all thats available from GM now for stock motors. It is the stock replacement for the LS1 lifter...The LS7 lifter will do fine for 99.9% of the guys out there...

I'm using the new LS7 lifters in my new motor. Plan on setting the rev limiter at 7200rpm... My stock lifters handled 6700rpm just fine..
