? after dyno run today
I autotaped some runs on the dyno today and I have a question.I had no knock and timing was up to 33 but at about 5700 rpm I had a drop in hp from 380 to 365 then at about 6200 it came back up and hit 402 on through 6600.I quess my ? is do I have valve float or what?Don't make sence why it would make more after the float though. Any help would be great. Torque dropped also about 40rw then back up 18. Thanks Adam

I had a similar problem when I was running CC 915's. The car would run up to 6krpm and drop and come back up like yours.. I swapped out the springs and the car ran fine.. The weird thing was the car was fine below that rpm. The problem got worse and that is why I changed the springs..

I could mail you the graph and maybe you could post it.
I have 941's with 20,000 miles thats why I was thinking springs, but my cam only has a 510 lift. And it seems like if the springs were weak then the power would not come back up.I should pobably change them anyway.
