Set-up, does it make any sense?
Alright, this is a '98 formula M6, daily (never really in stop and go) driver.
I have a FRA, lid, ported MAF (!screen), Hooker LT's, will have fabbed y with cats, and hooker catback, and 4.10's.
Everything is on there except the 4.10s (waiting to iron out trans. problems, but have them already), the exhaust (i'm running a cut-out, i need something mean, deep and not as loud).
I want to go with the TR224 114LSA, from what i've read it is what i'm looking for. One thing is i live in CA and have to smog every 2 years, so this is a concern. I know the LT's are illegal, but i know i can find a shop to overlook visual as long as i pass the sniffer. Can i pass the with the TR224 114LSA with the LT's and cats?
Will this set-up work well?
Also, what kind of exhaust should i get for my needs (mean, deep, and quieter than a cut-out, heh)? Thanks.

Here in Colorado we too have emmisions every two years. That is why I still keep my stock cam around. Swap it in, get the test done, and then swap it out
The LT should be ok as long as you keep the cats. They are needed for the visual inspection. The important thing is you have a set on. Now if they are 'Ported Hi Flow' cats, that is another thing

Well, first off LT's are illegal in CA, cats or not, but i know i'll need cats of course.
The question is will this stuff all work well together, from what i know it will, but i need someone with my experience to help me out to make sure.
