Default Lifters?

I have heard of people putting different ratio lifters on there stock lt1 and picking up considerable gains. Is this true with a stock ls1?
Thanks for the info.

Do you mean rocker arms rather than lifters? I have never heard of a lifter ratio <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

In that case, yes they be changed out for other ratios than 1.7:1. But all the other threads on this topic indicated, it is cheaper to buy a cam with the specs you want rather than buying different rocker arms. But one thing to consider, it is far easier to change the rocker arms than a cam in most circumstances.
