Help needed on oilpan...
Help needed on oilpan... does anyone have a photo of the underside of the ls1 with the oilpan off? I'm doing an engine swap, and need to do a little trimming on the front/bottom of the pan. I think the oil pickup tube is in that area, and was hoping someone might have a photo or some insight... otherwise I'll need to yank the pan to find out...

are you going to trim/ cut/ weld the oil pan??
you do know that it's a structural part, and the block's integrity is compromised if the oilpan's integrity is compromised.
if all else fails , why don't you look at the holden oil pans.
and the oil pick up sits iin the middle of the lowest part of the pan.
