Default QTP's dyno results

Long story short.. were going to have to go back to re-dyno tune/test because of this....

P0102
P0108
P0121
P0135
P0155
P0405
P0210
P0803
P1121

And a few others I didn't even bother to record, Barry's car came in with stock programming and the SES light was illuminated, no biggie, we thought it was just the random missfire code or the EGR code getting thrown. I realized by the second pull that the MAF was not responding to the MAFT at ALL! checked a few things, my lap top is down and I didn't think I would need it anyway. We pulled it off the dyno with a mear 406/378 burning 11.2-11.6 obviously in "limp home" mode.

Here are his Modds..

Nitto 315 Dr's with Craigar's (sweet looking!)
QTP Long tube headers and Y.
ARE 226/230 cam
12 bolt 33 spline 3:73's
steel DS
stock acc pully, through an SLP dual dual.
JPR S2 heads
ported TB

After we left the dyno shop we went to investigate WTF went soo wrong, Tom dropped in the Tech 2 and the fault codes filled the whole screen! Come to find out, the PCM was and has been in open loop the whole time since who knows how long. He chased down some grounding wires, no luck! further investigation turned up a popped 15 amp fuse for the Eng circuit in the fore front under hood fuse pannel, replaced fuse and now it goes into closed loop and his car really ripps now! Stupid fuse wasted a 4 hour of head scratching dyno session. The black cloud has lifted now..... I hope?

Joe.

6sp or auto?
I think that ARE cam is actually a 226/234 but I could be wrong. With a final tune I bet u see over 420,Not to bad threw the exhaust, maybe another 5 to 7RW threw cutouts too..

Sounds very promising..
Good luck....

His Camaro is an M6, we believe it will settle in at about 424/400 in change with open cutouts when re-tested. Even in limp home with only 20 degrees of max timing, he is outperforming his old packege by 26 rwh so far. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Yes it was a long day on friday. I beleive we figured all the issues out. I need to thank <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> Joe, <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> Tommy and <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> PJ for getting this beast to wake up.

One thing Joe did not mention is I notice my driver side wheel wobbling on the dyno. I hope is wants true but it is. I had an axle incident last year when the axle came out on me while driving. I replace the axle, rotor and rim. Thought that would do it but it didnt. Its the 12 Bolt housing. <img border="0" alt="[guns]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" /> Its bent! Need to replace that. Just wonder how much HP a wobbling rim eats up.

I am not rushing the car cause if i do it breaks. Im getting tired of breaking. So im going to replace the rear, get it all tuned up then hit the track. Oh did i mention i still have to install the nitrous back on the car <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
Look Out

The only changes made from the last package were the heads.

Joe.
