TR224/224 112LSA install saturday

is there anything else i will need for the installation process? this is what i have:
1. TR 224/224 112LSA camshaft
2. cam gasket/bolt kit
3. hardened pushrods(stock length)
4. conical valve springs
5. Z06 replacement oil pump

You will need a new crank bolt, not sure if it is in your kit. Loctite, and it might not hurt to do the timing chain while you are in there... Also if you are not pulling the heads, you will need 16 pen magnets to hold up the lifters..Some people will say you do not need them, but $30 is a cheap price to pay for insurance...

dont forget to put a dab of locktight on
the 3 bolts that tread into the cam itself.

Good luck finding 16 cheap pen magnets. I looked for a week before I could find enough of them at the right price.

Buy a few extra retainer "key" or "locks". They drop out of your hands easily and fall into engine compartment. You can waste a 45 minutes looking for your lost keys/locks or finish much sooner.
