Default Replace lifters?

Should I reuse the stock lifters? I'm building up a 383 stroker and I've got everything out of the block. Can I reuse them with the stock cam? if I get a new cam?

Also, do you have to put them back in the same spot they cam from?

Thanks,
Erik

If you have more than 40-50k miles on em, maybe replace them just because you are in there. Its definitly not nessisary. You dont have to put them in the exact same place as before, but general practice is to keep em in order it seems.

Erik i would replace lifter plastic guides, while you are in there, cheap insurance and if you change cams later you will be able to keep lifters up while doing so. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
