Default Misfire code after cam install

Is it normal to have a misfire code after a cam install. I installed a TR224/224 in a 99 A4 and it still needs tuning it idles rough in Park and struggles sometimes in gear and stalls once in a while. The only time it seems to throw P0300 (misfire) code is when it is at idle. The car pulls HARD and does not break up. Is this a normal code to pop for this application.

Completely normal. I had it for awhile when I put my TR224 in. I ended up getting Edit and deleting it.

Good luck, Stu

with cam you will have more misfires at idle thuse setting a misfire code. Get edit and turn the PO300 codes off <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
