cam bearing wear
cam bearing wear tearing motor down for refresh. Cam bearings look like this
Initially I'm freaking out. However after searching I read that this is somewhat common for LSx motors :O. 2nd bearing has just a touch of copper. Rear one looks good. 3rd I can't see all that great but looks ok.
Should I replace bearings?
thinking of taking block to machine shop and having them bore and hone cylinders. Clean block up and all passages. And put in new plugs and cam bearings.
Anyone have an estimate of what this will cost?
